Terms of service
Month to month, cancel anytime. The room and its contents belong to the organization.
The agreement
These terms apply to the organization that creates a room, to the administrators who run it, and to the members admitted to it.
Subscriptions and billing
Rooms are sold by how many people are in the room, billed monthly. There is no contract and a subscription can be cancelled at any time. Extra storage is available as an add-on.
Who runs the room
The administrator sets the roles and permissions, writes the room rules, admits and removes members, and is responsible for the material posted inside the room.
Acceptable use
Rooms may not be used for unlawful activity, harassment, or to distribute material the organization has no right to distribute. Staff can remove anything and members can report anything.
Emergency communication
Alert features are for organizational communication only. They are not a replacement for emergency services or for a dispatch system, and must not be relied on as one.
The fundraising program
Participation is available to subscribers with a live room and is reviewed and approved individually. Money is only generated when a real customer buys and pays for a subscription; nobody is paid for recruiting a participant. Payment goes to the organization on a completed W-9. Participants are independent contractors, not employees, and rewards depend on referrals and are never guaranteed.
Ending a subscription
On cancellation the organization can export its material. Nothing inside a room is sold, published or used for advertising at any point, during the subscription or after it.
